MINISTRIES

FRONTLINE:

Greeter Team: This team loves people and makes them feel at home at Life Church. They welcome guests at the door with a smile and direct them to the auditorium.
Ushers Team: The ushers prepare people for a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting them to a seat, facilitating the offering, and maintaining a distraction-free environment.
Parking Team:  This team is a guest’s first impression of Life Church.  They manage the flow of the parking lot for services and events, making parking easy and efficient.
Information/Resource Team: This team serves guests by answering questions and providing information on all of our current events, ministry opportunities and services at Life church.  They also assist in registering people for events, and take care of resource sales.
Growth Track Team: This team hosts the Growth Track by greeting guests and providing materials and assistance throughout the four steps of the Growth Track.
Hospitality Lounge Team: This team connects with guests by offering a hot cup of coffee, meal of the day, and a warm welcome.  They make new people feel at home and can help point them towards their next steps at Church.
Steward: This team works behind the scenes to maintain a spirit of excellence in our facilities. Serving opportunities include counting Church attendees, and ensuring facilities are clean and tidy.
Playground Team: This team facilitates the Life Church experience by setting up before services and taking down after services in our playground area.

LIFE CAFÉ:

A team dedicated to ensuring great coffee and food is prepared and ready for sale, and that people are served.  The prep team works behind the scene preparing the food and others on the dream team serve behind the counter in serving and sales.  Caféhosts make sure the standard is maintained throughout the caféareas.

 

WORSHIP TEAM:

This creative team prepares the way for our church & guests to encounter the presence of God through the use of musical gifts & abilities. Practices take place on Thursday nights in preparation for Sunday’s worship experience.


MEDIA TEAM:

This team uses creativity and technology to reach people by delivering the Word and worship through cameras, lighting and other visual elements.  Specific areas to serve are sound, media and lighting.

 

KIDS CHURCH:

Life Kids Team: This team leads children into a real relationship with Jesus through Bible stories, worship, prayer, hands-on activities and personal interactions. This team creates an environment in our kid’s services where children are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus. They intentionally invest in the lives of our children through worship, videos, fun, connection and small groups.
Parent Host Team: Moms have the opportunity of serving other moms as a parent host in the mother’s room.  We love our parents to feel as comfortable as they can and the role of parent hosts is simply to ensure everyone is able to engage in the service and feel at home.

 

YOUTH:

This team ensures the youth checking in and out on a Friday night, are safe and that the premises are secure during youth.  They also spend time as a team, outside of the service, praying for the children who are in the service. Youth is from Grade7  – 12, which happen on a Friday evening.  It is a fun, secure environment for children to encounter God in a relevant way.  The team creates the worship experience for youth through games, preaching and a worship team.


WAREHOUSE:

Community projects: We are catering for the needs of various children and old age homes. This project involves fund raising and working closely with other organizations to meet the needs of these various homes. We support the CANSA TLC children's project.

 

WOMEN’S MINISTRY:

Women’s Ministry is grouped in the following way:
Discipleship Training on Tuesday evenings.
Women Connect on the last Saturday of every month.
Creative Connect on Tuesday mornings.
Women’s Conference once a year.

 

MEN’S MINISTRY:

Men’s Ministry take place on the last Saturday of every month.
Men’s Conference once a year.
